Owasso High School students are back in class after someone sent a threat to a school employee Friday morning which forced a lockout.
The lockout has been lifted and there is no threat to anyone on campus.
Owasso Police said it was a school employee who received a threat from a family member.
Police said the school went on a perimeter lockout just to be safe, which means no one can enter or exit the building.
The lockout was lifted just before 10:30 Friday morning when police determined there was no threat to the campus.
Owasso Police said Bixby Police are also involved in the investigation since this is where the victim and suspect both live.
They said the suspect has not been charged for the threat, but the investigation is ongoing.
Owasso Police will keep officers both inside and outside of the high school for the rest of the school day for ease of mind, but the lockout has been lifted.
