Storms left many homes damaged and debris surrounding the Crawford County courthouse after a system moved through Van Buren Monday night.
The courthouse will be closed on Tuesday due to the damage to the roof and water inside the building. Officials say the storm had winds of up to 90 miles per hour and that the main street is covered by downed trees and power lines. The Crawford County Emergency Manager is asking residents to stay home as crews work to clear.
No injuries have been reported at this time and crews are hoping to keep everyone safe as they clean up.
