Amazing Oklahoman: 8-Year-Old Addie Lives Dream Of Being A Vet

Tuesday’s amazing Oklahoman is an eight-year-old girl from Tulsa who recently spent the day at OSU living out a lifelong dream.

Addie has cancer and she has always wanted to be a veterinarian, so the Make-A-Wish Foundation set her up with staff at OSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

Addie spent the day learning to perform wellness exams on kittens and puppies, how to perform a CT scan and she helped bandage the leg of a stuffed dog.

OSU President Burns Hargis and Pistol Pete were there for Addie’s end-of-the-day graduation.
