2 Charged With Murder In Death Of Man Shot While Riding Bike In Tulsa

The U.S. Attorneys Office says two men have been charged with shooting and killing a man in Tulsa.

Two men have been indicted by a federal grand jury in the death of a man who was shot while riding his bike in Tulsa, the U.S. Attorneys Office said. 

28-year-old Devon Blevins and 21-year-old Jacob Banks have been charged with first-degree murder, the U.S. Attorneys Office said. 

In April, 36-year-old Maurice Burgess was found on the ground next to his bike near 61st and Peoria with a gunshot wound to the neck, Tulsa Police said. Burgess was taken to the hospital where he died.

The U.S. Attorneys Office said both are charged with aiding and abetting one another in allegedly killing Burgess.

Banks is also charged with having a gun as a felon.

The FBI and Tulsa Police are the investigative agencies.
