Veteran Salute: Charlie Self

News On 6 is continuing to recognize veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their communities.

Today, we recognize Charlie Self.

Charlie enlisted in the Navy at 17-years-old during World War II.

When he left the Navy, he was a high school teacher and basketball coach in Yeager and Holdenville.

Charlie, thank you for your service.
