Driver Dies After Vehicle Kills Pedestrian, Collides With Tree

Tulsa police is on the scene of a deadly crash near West Pine Street and the L.L. Tisdale Parkway.

Authorities said a car hit a tree on North Nogales Avenue just before 9 p.m. Saturday.

The tree went through the vehicle's engine and passed through the front dashboard.

Police said the car tried to swerve off the road when the vehicle hit the tree.

A female pedestrian was hit by the swerving vehicle. She was transported to a local hospital where she later died.

The male driver, who was pinned in the vehicle, died after he was extracted from the vehicle.
