Multiple agencies are investigating a possible drowning Thursday night in Tuttle.

According to authorities, two 11-year-old boys said they saw a young girl in the river at East Tyler Road and North Sara Road.

Michael Scott with the Tuttle Police Department said the boys described in detail, saying the girl appeared to be 6 or 7 years old. They said she had a cut on her cheek and a pink shoe.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department’s dive team and Air One responded to assist the Tuttle Fire Department.

Divers were unable to go into the water to search due to floodwaters.

We’re told six agencies responded to the scene.

Officials said there are no missing persons reports at this time.

This is a developing story.
