OSU-Tulsa Launches Website Highlighting Prominent Women Of Black Wall Street

A professor at OSU-Tulsa is launching a new website that tells the story of the women of Black Wall Street.

Students in Dr. Brandy Thomas Wells’ “Digital Methods in History” class researched and wrote biographies of ten prominent women, including business owners Susie Bell, Dora Wells and Emma Gurley.

Dr. Wells said she plans to add more biographies in the future when she teaches the class again.
