A local church is launching a 10-week summer camp to help create a better future for children in under-served communities in Tulsa.

Wesley Chapel was destroyed during the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre 100 years ago and Co-Pastor Chris Breach says people came together to rebuild the church. Now, Pastor Breach said church leaders hope to keep that same spirit alive with the "Youth Works Summer Dream Camp."

"A lot of things have improved but there is a lot of issues today and so when we work with the kids, we say God is the one who created all of us, so to hate someone for another race, we are hating God," said Pastor Breach.

The youth summer camp will bring 100 companies, churches and groups together to focus on prayer and education.
