Watch: 6-Year-Old Boy Cleans Up Trash In His Community

A Green Country boy is using a lesson he learned in school to make a difference in his community.

Six-year-old Bohannon Tygart just finished kindergarten in Verdigris. His teacher, Mrs. Corbin, taught her class about pollution on Earth Day back in April and it really resonated with Bohannon.

After the lesson, he asked his dad if they could go pick up trash, so they went to Rogers Point Park in Catoosa last week and got to work.

Once they loaded everything up, they took all the trash to the dump where it belongs.
