Muscogee Nation Principal Chief Meets With President Biden

The Principal Chief of the Muscogee Nation said he met with President Joe Biden while he was in Tulsa last week.

Chief David Hill said he thanked the president for his attention to Indian Country and asked him to keep the lines of communication open between the White House and the Muscogee Nation.

Hill also said he talked to the president about the fight to uphold tribal sovereignty and the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling on tribal jurisdiction.
