GRDA Says 1,300 Fish Died This Month, Impacting Lake Hudson

The Grand River Dam Authority reported about 1,300 fish have died since the start of the month, impacting Lake Hudson in Mayes County. The Department of Wildlife Conservation encourages people to report concerns so that officials can keep track of them. You can contact the department here.

St. Francis Tulsa Tough Road Closures

Tulsa Tough runs June 11-13 and has races for everyone, including a Townie race if you are looking to just get out and ride. Jenks Trojans Read The Way Bookmobile Bus Schedule

The Trojan Read the Way Bookmobile hit the road today for the first time. The district converted an old school bus into a miniature library that drives around to bring free books to kids in the Jenks School District. The bookmobile will be out every Tuesday and Thursday this summer. You can find the list of times and locations here.

Osage Casinos Hosts Job Fair

Osage Casinos is hosting a job fair in Tulsa on Thursday for a variety of positions open at all seven of its locations.

The job fair is at the skyline event center at Osage Casino on West 36th Street North.

It starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 8 p.m.

Organizers ask prospective employees to sign up online before attending.

Sequoyah Public Schools Hosts COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic For Students

Sequoyah Public Schools is hosting a vaccine clinic for students on Thursday.

Students ages 12 and over are eligible to receive a COVID-19 Vaccine.

The clinic will take place at Olan Graham Field House from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Green Country Nonprofit Gives Out Free Air Conditioning Units

Temperatures are heating up across Green Country, and a local nonprofit is making sure people have a working air conditioner to keep them cool.

To receive an air conditioner, you must live in Tulsa County and meet all of the residency, income, mobility and medical criteria.

You also need to complete an application with the Tulsa Weather Coalition staff.

Register For A Chance To Purchase 2022 PGA Championship Tickets

The 2022 PGA Championship is coming to Tulsa next May and if you want tickets, you'll have to act now.

Tickets are only sold through an online registration process. Folks will need to register online to reserve a spot to purchase tickets when they are released later this month.

This is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Those interested have until June 20th to register.
