On Friday, a volunteer group from Texas will be in Okmulgee County to help with the clean-up after Monday's flash floods.

The 15-member team is expected to help with work on about 30 homes and a church.

The same group was deployed to Town and Country for the Tulsa flooding back in 2019.

On Monday, Rainwater swelled the creeks and Schulter, quickly flooding roads and land, even leading to the closure of Highway 75 for several hours.

Firefighters said they rescued more than a dozen people from swift water on the back roads.
