TSCO Warns Of Scammer Using Deputy's Name

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is sending out a new scam warning.

The sheriff's office said that it has been receiving reports of someone calling people and claiming to be Sgt. Chris Pierce. The caller then says he is raising money for the sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office warns that you should not give your money to this person, it is a scam.

The sheriff's office said it does not, and will not, call people asking for money for any reason.

If you receive or have received a similar call, authorities ask that you report it to the sheriff's office.
