A man was arrested early Saturday after a Delta flight made an emergency landing in Oklahoma City.

Stephon Jamar Duncan, 34, of Atlanta, was identified as the man arrested by officers when the plane landed at Will Rogers World Airport.

Police were called about 10:15 p.m. Friday to respond to a disturbance on a flight which was diverting to Oklahoma City.

When officers got onto the plane, they saw Duncan cuffed and seated on the floor. He had an abrasion on his forehead.

The on-duty flight crew said Duncan was making odd statements and doing weird things. They said he was exhibiting strange and paranoid behavior, made statements about being seated next to a terrorist and started stashing his personal items in various places throughout the plane.

Witnesses told police Duncan went on the plane's P.A. system and started making announcements about the plane going through turbulence, to put seat belts on, the plane was being taken over and the plane would be going under 10,000 feet.

Two Delta employees were injured when trying to deal with Duncan, police said.

One victim gave police a note they said they got from Duncan. In it, Duncan said he was an Atlanta-based "Alert Delta Manager," there was a terrorist on board and to contact the pilots.

Duncan was taken to a local hospital where he was medically cleared. He was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on complaints of assault.

Oklahoma City police said the FBI is tasking over the investigation.
