Tulsa Police are looking for a missing and endangered 14-year-old who has been missing for a week.

Police say Carson Jones was in DHS custody when he left the area. He hasn’t been seen since June 7th in the 46th Street North and MLK area.

Carson’s father Mark Benthimer said he was so worried he flew to Tulsa from Portland, Oregon, two days ago to search for his son. He said Carson has autism and is very trusting.

Police say the last time anyone saw Carson, he was wearing a red shirt, blue shorts and no shoes. Benthimer said Carson moved to Oklahoma with his mother a couple years ago, then ended up in DHS custody.

Benthimer said he bought Carson a cell phone and they usually talk almost every day.

"I just want to find him, I am here till I find him. I am freaking out, I am. You see this stuff on TV but you never think it'll happen to you,” said Benthimer.

Police said they have been searching for Carson for a week now but have hit a point where they are asking for help.

“They've been working the case and actively looking for him for a week. Now we are to a point where we could use some help, get it out there, maybe someone has seen him. Maybe someone outside of us can pinpoint where he might have gone,” said Officer Danny Bean with Tulsa Police.

If you have seen Carson or have any information about where he could be call 918-596-9222.
