TPD: Man In Custody After Nearly Hitting Patrol Car, Leading Officer On Chase

Tulsa police say an SUV nearly hit an officer in a patrol car on Thursday night, leading to a short chase.

According to Tulsa police, the officer in the patrol car began chasing the SUV after the driver ran a stop sign near I-244 and Sheridan and almost hit the police car around midnight.

After a short chase, TPD said the SUV crashed at Easton and Kingston and the four people inside fled the scene.

Officers eventually caught up with three of the suspects and arrested them, a fourth person has not yet been found.

According to police, a gun and some drugs were found following a search of the vehicle.
