Police Officers Join Together To Honor Former Mayes County Sheriff

MAYES COUNTY, Oklahoma -
A former Mayes County sheriff was given a special escort Friday afternoon.
Officers from across Oklahoma gathered at Hillcrest hospital in Tulsa today to escort Sheriff Frank Cantey back to Pryor where he will be laid to rest at a later date. Sheriff Cantey became the sheriff in Mayes county in 2001 and retired in 2012.
His funeral arrangements have not been announced.
