Pawnee Nation Honors Veterans With Homecoming Powwow
Over the next several days the Pawnee Nation will honor veterans during its longstanding Homecoming Powwow Celebration.
It started back in the 40s as a ceremony to dance for the brave soldiers who died in battle and honoring those returning home.

Muskogee Pastor Featured In Fitness Magazine's Cash Prize Competition
A typical Saturday inside Champion Fitness in Muskogee usually means Genesis Church pastor Frank Miller is pumping iron.
After health issues prompted him to drop 40 pounds in the past year, he's ramped up his weightlifting efforts to get on the cover of Muscle and Fitness Magazine and take home a $20,000 grand prize.

Broken Arrow Public Schools Partners With Saint Francis For COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic
Broken Arrow schools are partnering with Saint Francis Health Systems to provide free COVID-19 vaccinations in the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center auditorium at 701 S. Main St. in downtown Broken Arrow. The first dose will be administered on Wednesday, July 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The second dose will be administered on Wednesday, July 28, at the same times and location as the first shot. Starlight Band Begins 75th Season With Four Concerts In July
After the 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tulsa's Starlight Band returns Tuesday, July 6 for its first of four July concerts.
Tuesday's concert will start at 8 p.m. on the Guthrie Green. The band's concerts on July 13, July 20 and July 27 will also take place on the Guthrie Green.
