Monday is World Chimpanzee Day, a day set aside to raise awareness and help the future of the species.

News On 6's LeAnne Taylor was at the Tulsa Zoo on Monday to watch zookeeper Mo O'Leary work her magic with the troop of chimpanzees at the zoo's wonderful chimpanzee exhibit.

O'Leary said the chimpanzees in the wild are an endangered species and their habitat is being destroyed, so taking time on Wednesday to raise awareness is critical for their existence.
