Dept. Of Public Safety Opening ‘Mega Center’ In Tulsa For Real IDs, License Renewals

The Department of Public Safety is opening a “mega center” in Tulsa to help with the huge backlog of people waiting to get a Real ID or renew their driver's licenses.

It will open August 16 in the Kensington Business Center near 71st and Lewis. The center will be open until January.

Workers will take walk-in appointments six days a week from 6:30 a.m. until 10 p.m.

DPS is also opening a mega center in Oklahoma City.
