1 Killed, Adult & Infant Hospitalized After Wreck In Pawnee County

A woman is dead and two people, including a one-year-old child, are in the hospital after a wreck in Pawnee County.

OHP troopers said Renee Loewen-Jones was at a stop sign on Highway 48 Friday morning when she pulled out in front of a garbage truck and was hit.

Loewen-Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other adult in the car, Courtney Miller, was flown to the hospital in poor condition. The one-year-old was also taken to the hospital with head and leg injuries.

The driver of the garbage truck was treated at the hospital for a broken knee, but was released.
