Wednesday is the first day of school for several Green Country public school districts. Students at Coweta, Chouteau, Chelsea and Stilwell will go back to class.
Each district has its "Return to Learn" plan posted online.
Due to state law districts can't require masks, but all the districts mention masks and say they're optional.
In Stilwell, the superintendent said she wants school to be as normal as possible. She said students should bring a water bottle to school because all fountains will be shut off as an added safety measure.
All the districts will enforce safe spacing and they each have protocols in place if someone is exposed to COVID-19.
The districts also want students and parents to pre-screen at home and ask any student who isn't feeling well to stay home.
As the COVID-19 situation changes, so could each district's protocols.
Private school Metro Christian Academy will welcome back middle and high school students Wednesday. Metro elementary students go back to class Thursday.
