A portion of the former Royal Casket building in downtown Muskogee fell to the ground overnight.
The part of the collapsed building, which was originally built in 1900, fell below near Main and Court Streets.
Crews have been on scene since approximately midnight Saturday morning.
The city of Muskogee, Muskogee police and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation are working to divert traffic away from the scene.
ODOT said Business U.S. Route 62/Main Street is currently closed between Martin Luther King Street and Okmulgee Avenue due to the damage.
Muskogee police shared bodycam footage with News On 6 Saturday as a portion of the building collapsed.

As crews prepared for building demolition efforts, Muskogee authorities told News On 6 that electricity was turned off to the immediate downtown area.
