Human Remains Found In Tent Along Highway 169

Tulsa Police say that human remains were found near Highway 169.

The remains were located near 21st Street around 5 p.m. on Saturday.

They were found in a tent that was put up in deep brush following the highway.

Police say the skeletal remains are in an advanced state of decomposition.

There was no evidence at the scene to identify the remains or a cause of death, according to police.

Detectives and medical examiners are investigating how the person may have died.

Police did not say if they suspect any foul play in this case.
