Family honors the life of a 34-year-old woman who died in a crash involving a semi last week in Broken Arrow.

They said she was a loving mother of two boys and well-known in the community.

Taylor's Thesenvitz worked at her dad's restaurant where she was loved by many. Taylor's mother, Tammy Mack, said she had a lot of hard times in her life, but always came out stronger.

"It's been five days and hasn't gotten easier," said Tammy Mack.

Mack said losing her daughter Taylor Thesenvitz doesn't feel real.

"She was my little sidekick," Mack said.

Taylor grew up in Claremore and Owasso and began working at her dad's restaurant, Tastee Treat, in Broken Arrow when she was about 11.

Taylor recently started working there again as a waitress. Mack said all the customers adored Taylor.

"They loved her so much," Mack said.

Taylor has two boys: 14-year-old Grayson, and four-year-old Brooks, who were her entire world.

Grayson's dad Casey Wise was with Taylor for 12 years and said Taylor was at every baseball game cheering for Grayson, who she called "Goose."

"He played baseball Saturdays, but she made it to every game," said Wise.

Taylor faced some hardships, too. In 2013, she nearly died after getting West Nile that paralyzed her, but she fought for years to overcome it.

"She wasn't supposed to make it through that, and she did. She's the strongest person I know," said Wise.

Taylor has a huge family and lots of friends. Tammy said everyone loved Taylor's dry sense of humor and huge heart.

"She loved her boys dearly," said Wise. "She loved to laugh, she loved to have a good time."

"It helps to have so many people reach out and talk about how much they loved her and her smile and sweetness," said Mack.

The report said Taylor veered off the road and hit a semi, but officials are not sure why.

Her funeral is set for Wednesday. An account has been set up at BancFirst to help Taylor's sons. You can read her obituary here.
