Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter Takes Part In The 'Clear the Shelter Adoption Event"

If you're looking for a new furry friend to add to your family, there is a nationwide event going on that can help.

The Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter is participating in the nationwide, "Clear the Shelter Adoption Event."

During the event, the shelter will waive all adoption fees for dogs and cats and will also have extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.

It will run through Sunday, September the 19th.

Oklahoma's Senate & House Redistricting Committees Announce New Deadline For Public Submissions For Congressional Redistricting Maps

The committees announced public submissions must be submitted by October 10.

Oklahoma citizens can create maps including a statewide plan to update the five congressional districts.
