Tulsa County Commissioners Consider Moving Election Board To Former Promenade Mall Macy's

The Tulsa County Election Board could be moving to Promenade Mall.

The county commission is looking into buying the former Macy's store at the mall. The building was one of three anchor stores at Promenade.

The move would give the board more room and be an overall better location.

"It's really surrounded by all of the precincts, a majority of the precincts. Better access, bus routes, traffic flows well with good exposure. It's a good fit but we have to see what the total cost is and what that's going to be," said Stan Sallee from the Tulsa County Commission.

If the county buys the Macy's building, the goal is to move before the 2024 presidential election.
