Tulsa Police are investigating after a body was found Sunday morning near 46th Street North and Peoria.
Police said a Tulsa Transit bus driver saw the body on the side of the road and called 911.
Tulsa Police Investigators responded to the call around 7:20 this morning. They said when they got to the scene near 46th Street North and Peoria they found a man's body.
"It looks suspicious. We believe that right now, we're working a murder," said Lt. Brandon Watkins.
Right now, officers don't know how the man died but say he has trauma to his head and upper body.
It's obviously not a natural death so we're just going from there," said Watkins.
Officers said this man didn't have an ID on him so now they're working with the Medical Examiner to try figure out who he is.
Investigators are now talking with people who live nearby to see if they heard something.
Lt. Watkins said they hope to find a lead soon.
"Every murder is gruesome. It's just uh, it's just a tragedy," said Watkins.
