Oklahoma-Produced ‘Reservation Dogs’ Renewed For Second Season

Though still airing its pilot season, the Oklahoma-made series “Reservation Dogs” is coming back for a second season.

Still airing its pilot season, the Oklahoma-made series “Reservation Dogs” is coming back for season two.

The FX series was filmed in Okmulgee and features an all-indigenous cast, crew and creative team.

The show, co-created by Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi, centers on four indigenous friends growing up on a reservation in Oklahoma.

Circle Cinema premiered the first three episodes of the series in early August.

Just six episodes into its first season, the show is being met with strong praise, earning a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
