Major Construction Project On East Side Of IDL Starts Monday

A major construction project is getting ready to start on the loop around downtown Tulsa.

Highway 75 on the east side of the IDL will be closed starting Monday as crews start a resurfacing project.

“It’s going to be a long closure, just like the other two legs we’ve done already was, but I think everybody can agree that the pavement in that area is much in need of replacement,” T.J. Gerlach with ODOT said.

ODOT said you should expect major traffic delays.

There will be more lane changes and ramp closures as the project continues in 2023.
