A Tulsa man has been convicted of first-degree murder in federal court for killing a bicyclist in April.

27-year-old Devon Blevins killed 36-year-old Maurice Burgess at the Waterstone Apartment complex near 61st and Peoria in a drive-by shooting.

Prosecutors said Blevins killed Burgess as part of a gang initiation ritual.

21-year-old Jacob Banks pleaded guilty Friday for driving the car used in the shooting.
