Teen Injured In Early Morning Crash, Tulsa Police Say

Tulsa Police say at least one person is hurt after a 17-year-old fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a steel pole near Apache and Lewis.

According to police, the crash occurred around 3 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

Police say both teens were standing outside of the vehicle when officers arrived, but one may have suffered a broken leg.

Police said both the driver and passenger are 17-years-old and are lucky to be alive.
