Three students at Muskogee 8th and 9th Grade Academy are not allowed back on campus after police got a tip there may be a gun at the school.
School leaders said a gun has not been found, but they believe the students were involved in the incident.
Classes went on as normal with the exterior doors of the building locked while the school investigated.
The Superintendent said he will ensure everyone on campus stays safe. The students involved will not be allowed back on campus until the investigation concludes.
