Given the hardship of COVID-19 or any sudden diagnosis, caregivers who are helping loved ones in their battle may start to feel overwhelmed and burned out. That's the case for many people in our country.

Author Kate Washington has written a book called "Already Toast" about her personal journey of caring for her husband who was diagnosed with cancer and how that diagnosis changed the young couple and the challenges they faced.

Washington will be part of a free virtual event on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. where she will talk about her experience and what she's learned to help others going through a similar journey.

It's presented by Hospice of Green Country and Magic City Books. Registration is required to attend. Click Here to register online.
