Governor Kevin Stitt is calling President Joe Biden's vaccine mandate "unconstitutional".
Stitt says the state plans to sue once the mandate is official.
The Governor says he doesn't believe it's the government's job to decide a private company's policy, even after he received the COVID-19 vaccine.
"Just as I believe Joe Biden can't tell businesses they have to mandate a vaccine, I don't believe the government should tell a company they can't. Businesses should have the freedom to make decisions based on their circumstances." Stitt said.
The Governor says companies should allow exemptions for religious, medical or personal reasons.
