Immigrant Resource & Empowerment Center Opens In Tulsa

A new resource center for immigrants is opening in Tulsa.

El Centro is holding an open house Thursday. It offers bilingual workshops and classes for immigrants where they can learn about rights in the workplace, civic engagement, digital literacy and navigating the school system.

It also offers free legal consultations.

The center is located near 31st and Mingo in the Briar Village Plaza. The open house runs until 6 p.m. Thursday.
