Street Work To Expand Yale To 6 Lanes Begins

Work on a $30 million construction project on Yale Avenue began on Tuesday. The street will be widened from two lanes to six lanes between 81st and 91st on Signal Hill.

TULSA, Oklahoma -

Work on a $30 million construction project on Yale Avenue began on Tuesday.

The street will be widened from two lanes to six lanes between 81st and 91st on Signal Hill.

The project also includes landscaping, new retaining walls, storm sewers, curbs, gutters and sidewalks on both sides of the street.

Crews will work 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The project should wrap up late summer or early fall in 2023.
