Voters in McAlester have approved two propositions to improve the city's water system.
The city can now move forward with a $32 million water infrastructure loan to replace 28 miles of water lines in McAlester.
The city will fund the project through a new quarter-cent sale Tax that voters approved.
The project is scheduled to begin in 2022 and is expected to take five years to complete.
