Police Arrest Man Accused Of Driving Drunk, Crashing Car

Tulsa Police arrested a man suspected of driving drunk and hitting a power pole.

Officials responded to a crash near Pine and Peoria around noon on Saturday.

That's where they found a car flipped upside down, blocking some traffic in Peoria.

Police said the driver, Juan Jiminez, smelled like alcohol and showed signs of intoxication.

They said Jiminez was driving on Peoria when he hit a guide wire and then a power pole. The crash knocked out power for some customers in the area.

Jiminez was taken to the hospital and then arrested for driving under the influence.
