A man has been sentenced to 40 years in jail after he pled guilty to charges in a deadly shooting at a homeless camp near Admiral and Sheridan last August.

A man has been sentenced to 40 years in jail after he pled guilty to charges in a deadly shooting at a homeless camp near Admiral and Sheridan last August.

Andres Martinez pled guilty to an amended charge of first-degree manslaughter in the death of Mark Lake, as well as two charges of pointing a gun at someone.

Jason Arce is also connected to this shooting and convicted of first-degree murder in October.
