Tulsa Police say two people are in jail on Thursday, accused of running a chop shop inside of a Tulsa home. Investigators say the suspects removed several parts of a stolen SUV.

Police say they were first called to an apartment after one of the suspects broke in and stole guns. Investigators say they were then tipped off about a stolen Chevy Tahoe.

Officers say Ernest Castro and Corrina Buck were inside of a home near 41st and Memorial. Castro had an existing warrant for his arrest and both surrendered, according to investigators.

Police say the VIN plate was taken off and the suspects removed the engine, transmission, doors and other valuable parts from the vehicle. They say seats from the car were even being used as furniture inside of the home.

Investigators say three guns were found in a different car parked in the driveway. Castro and Buck were booked inside the jail, facing charges of having a stolen car and running a chop shop.
