Man Convicted Of Stealing $25,000 Is Sentenced By Tulsa Co. Judge

A man who police said stole mail from people in Tulsa has been convicted of several counts of identity theft.

A man who police said stole mail from people in Tulsa has been convicted of several counts of identity theft.

Daniel Castillo was arrested by Tulsa police back in April of this year.

Officers said Castillo stole people's mail, made fake ID's and used those to steal more than $25,000 from several victims.

Records show he was also arrested in February of 2021 and November 2020 for similar crimes.

He has six previous felony convictions and all six times he received a suspended sentence.

Castillo was sentenced BY a Tulsa County judge to 40 years.
