Santa, Mrs. Claus Visit 2 Oklahoma Boys Before Christmas

A Green Country little boy is thanking Santa and Mrs. Claus for taking special trips every year to visit. 

Kaden has Autism and can't go to crowded places to see Santa as many kids do- so Santa comes to him.

"When we are just relaxing at our house and then he just comes and surprises us- and it is really fun," said 9-year-old Ben James. 

Every year Santa makes time in his busy schedule to see 12-year-old Kaden and 9-year-old Ben.

"Santa coming to our house has been amazing for these past two years. I have just loved him coming and surprising us," said Ben. 

"What he said," echoed Kaden. 

"Santa always makes sure he comes by to see our family because he knows it is difficult for Kaden to get out in crowds and see Santa like most other kids," said Krysta James, Mom of Two. 

Santa and Mrs. Claus take these special strides for kids all over Green Country.

"We have probably been in more demand this year than we ever have been," said Santa, "When we walk through the door, they just get so excited!"

In fact, they tell me, since Thanksgiving- they have met more than one thousand Oklahoma kids.

"We were invited to come up to Enid for Lights Up the Plains- we were there when they lit up the world's largest, fresh-cut Christmas tree," said Santa. 

They have been to parades, they have visited kids at their homes, they have made special appearances. 

"We tell them, they need to leave this by the cookies so Santa knows that they have been good, and they will get something extra special under the tree," said Mrs. Claus . 

"Spread the Christmas joy. We all need it right now," said Santa, "We have been so blessed to do this over the years."

They haven't had a day off since Thanksgiving and are constantly coming up with new ideas to make their time with Green Country kids special and memorable- anything to put a smile on a child's face.
