Christmas is just days away and many people are scrambling to get those last-minute gifts.
If you procrastinated buying presents this year, there's still time and there are plenty of options to make the next few days stress-free.
"It's all last-minute shopping, it's never not last-minute shopping,” said shopper Kolby Webster.
It's the busiest week of the year at Ida Red in Tulsa.
"Most last-minute shoppers, it's like a game,” said Ida Red Owner Angelene Wright. "They just like don't know. I love helping people shop and brainstorm and make it beautiful. And I love the feeling when they find something that's perfect for that person that reminds them of that person."
Wright says items like socks and puzzles are flying off the shelves. She says things like mugs, t-shirts, candles, and books are also popular last-minute gifts.
If you want something sentimental, there are gifts unique to Tulsa like coasters or snow globes.
"These days we're shopping online so much, but you can't get that personal touch that you can get here and at other local stores also. And so, I love being able to help people at the last minute to find the right item,” Wright said.
Webster says this time of year reminds him to be thankful for the people in his life.
"And have gratitude for who they are, what they mean to you, and find something or some somethings that can somehow measure up a fraction of what that means to you,” Webster said.
While the holidays can be stressful for some, at the end of the day, it's not about the gift, but the person who will receive it.
Ida Red is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and open until 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
Ida Red is on Peoria on Brookside, Main Street in Downtown, and a new South Tulsa location at 7890 E. 106th Pl. S. Suite V-8.
