More than 20 people gathered Wednesday night to remember Peggy Gaytan 10 years after she was killed.
The Tulsa Grandma was working at the Shell Gas Station near 36th and Harvard when she was shot and killed. Family and friends gather on the 22nd of December every year to make sure she's not forgotten.
"She was simply here working her last shift before starting a different job and she had presents ready and we all just knew her. She was part of our neighborhood," Jennifer Harmon
Patrick Hamstard was charged with Peggy's murder last year, but the charges were dropped after police said the only witness wouldn't cooperate.
Prosecutors say they aren't any closer to filing new charges.
