Many Oklahomans are looking to dispose of or recycle their used Christmas trees this week and there are a few options available.
The City of Tulsa says you can dispose of your live Christmas tree by cutting it into four-foot sections and leaving it on your curb. It will be collected on your normal garbage pickup day through January.
You can also drop off live trees at the city mulch site near Apache and 145th East Avenue. You need to make sure all decorations, including tinsel, are removed from the tree.
The Oklahoma Forestry Service has made a list of places that Christmas trees can be recycled. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS
