Tulsa Family Safe After House Catches Fire

A Tulsa family is safe after their garage caught fire with two dogs inside.

Firefighters say the fire stretched from the garage into the attic at a home near 51st and Memorial. They say they had to cut a hole in the roof so that they could fight to get to some of the flames. The family and their pets all made it out safely.

An investigation into how the fire started is underway.
