Circle Cinema In Tulsa Prepares For Rocky Celebration For New Year's Eve

Tulsa’s historic Circle Cinema is getting ready to host a New Year’s party. 

This year on New Year's Eve, Circle Cinema continues its tradition of showing the 1975 cult film Rocky Horror starring Tim Curry. Circle Cinema Film Programmer Chuck Foxen says this is the 15th year in a row to show the film on New Year’s Eve.

He says a film trivia game will proceed the movie at 9:30p. The movie starts at 10:00p

“We sell these five-dollar bags with all of the increments inside so you can bring your own things or if you don’t we have these bags we put together with everything from cards to the rice all that kind of stuff is in their, its just an easy way to participate with the film and also have all the stuff you need to do it”, said Chuck Foxen, Circle Cinema 

Foxen says the film showing sold out fast this year since they’re allowing only 50 percent capacity.

“Since the film is on New Year's Eve we’ll have champagne and a Lacroy toast for the people who don’t drink alcohol out in the lobby and the theater”, said Chuck Foxen, Circle Cinema.
