Two men were arrested and accused of throwing drugs out the window during a chase before crashing in a Tulsa neighborhood, police say.

Tulsa Police said they tried to pull over a car for a traffic stop near 63rd and Memorial on Tuesday night before the car drove away.

The suspects, Jesus Perez-Lopez and Marco Venegas-Gallardo, were throwing meth and fentanyl pills out of the car during the chase, according to Tulsa Police.

The driver eventually lost control and crashed into an unoccupied truck in a neighborhood driveway near 72nd East Ave. Police said both suspects ran away and were quickly captured by authorities.

Tulsa Police said more than a half-pound and meth and 400 fentanyl pills were recovered from the pursuit.
